Brisbane Wolves Football Club are an Australian football (soccer) club from Wynnum, Queensland. The club was formed in 1921, and are the current winners of the Brisbane Premier League finals series, beating Rochedale Rovers in the 2010 final. They also won the same competition in 2009, defeating Capalaba Bulldogs at Perry Park. Brisbane Wolves is also the headquarters for the Queensland women's football association.

2011 Season

Brisbane Wolves have had a sensational 2011 season thus far, with a lot of Brisbane Premier League managers describing them as "the strongest team in BPL history". Wolves have won every game so far in the 2011 season, including an 11-1 annihilation of Taringa Rovers, a 7-3 victory over fellow title contenders Brisbane Olympic, a 9-1 demolition of Mount Gravatt and a 6-1 thumping of Redlands United[1]. Brisbane Wolves have signed New Zealand age-grade shot-stopper Coey Turipa.

Wolves took a giant step towards the league title with a 3-0 win over Rochedale Rovers at Underwood Park in May. Eastern Suburbs became only the 2nd team to take the lead against Wolves in 2011 but still lost 3-1 to the 'champions elect' on June 11. However they hit a stumbling block at Capalaba with a 3-2 defeat, before getting back to winning ways with an 8-1 trashing of Souths United.
